It is reported that Shuangyumen Bridge is a key control project of the second phase of the world-class cross-sea island-connecting project - Ningbo Zhoushan Port Liuheng Highway Bridge. The bridge connects Liuheng Island in the southern part of Zhoushan Islands, Fodu Island is two independent islands with a main span of 1,768 meters, which is the largest cross-sea bridge in China.
It has the characteristics of difficult construction, high safety risks and high technical requirements. The main tower on the Fodu side is equipped with two separate circular caps. The diameter of each cap is 27 meters and the height is 7 meters. A total of 4007.9 cubic meters of concrete need to be poured.
