JA Solar and CDP sign strategic cooperation agreement to help decarbonize the supply chain

On December 20, JA Solar Technology signed a strategic partnership with CDP (Global Environmental Information Research Center), becoming the first photovoltaic company in the world to join the CDP supply chain project. JA Solar will continue to improve supply chain emission reduction performance and enhance suppliers' ability to cope with climate change risks.
On December 20, at the annual meeting of "Open Cooperation on the Carbon Road" held by CDP (Global Environmental Information Research Center), JA Solar Technology and CDP officially signed a strategic cooperation partnership. In the future, CDP will support JA Solar to improve supply chain emission reduction performance and improve JA Solar's suppliers' ability to cope with climate change risks.
Mr. Sun Guangbin, Senior Vice President of JA Solar, said that this cooperation is a concrete practice for JA Solar to implement and support the country’s “3060” dual carbon goals. As a leading new energy manufacturing company, JA Solar assumes dual responsibilities in promoting the realization of dual carbon goals: first, providing sufficient, safe, clean, and low-carbon energy supply to the world. Second, we need to promote our own green and low-carbon transformation and ultimately achieve our own net-zero emissions.
In the future, JA Solar will play a leading role as a brand, be at the forefront of the international industry, and work with supply chain partners to jointly address the challenges brought about by climate change. At the same time, as the first photovoltaic company in the world to join the CDP supply chain project, JA Solar will work with more than 280 brands around the world to contribute to accelerating the decarbonization process of the global supply chain.
