Design Process
From 2010 to 2013, he served as the chief designer of Sanya Branch of Guangdong Xingyi Decoration Group;
From 2014 to September 2018, he served as the design director of Hainan Xiangyi Decoration Co., Ltd.;
From October 2018 to present, he serves as the chief designer of the Sanya Branch of Guangdong Huaning Decoration Group.

After the December Japan leg of Casaro’s World Tour started, we kicked off our exploration of Japan. The process was exciting, but the experience was more important. We interviewed designers who participated in the study tour and tried to understand their thoughts on the study tour.
Q: What is your biggest gain from this trip?
Answer: Of course the first thing to do is to broaden your horizons, see more, and understand the customs, designs, and lifestyles of foreign countries. Secondly, through study tours for designers, you can also improve your self-knowledge and make friends through communication with peers.
Q: What does design mean to you? What concepts have you always adhered to in terms of design?
Answer: For me, design is first of all a channel to change the quality of my own life, and it can also change the lifestyle of my customers. Secondly, your own ideas can be presented through design.
In terms of design, I always insist on putting functional design first. I think function is aesthetics. Many designs today have been emphasizing the beauty of shapes, colors, and materials. Although these points are important, the prerequisite for realizing these kinds of beauty must be based on functional design, and function is the basis of design.
Q: Where does the design inspiration for your work come from? How can you keep yourself constantly inspired by design?
Answer: My own design works are inspired by: 1. Continuously learning professional knowledge; 2. Studying other people’s good design works; 3. Living with heart and experiencing with heart. If you want to maintain a steady stream of design inspiration, you still have to strengthen your ability to learn. If iron does not grind, it will rust, and if people do not learn, they will fall behind. Learning is very important. As the saying goes, live and learn, and the same is true for design.
