Ceramic tiles imported from Spain increased by 62.78% year-on-year, while ceramic tiles imported from the Russian Federation increased by 198.28% year-on-year. Due to the surge in my country's slate production capacity and the impact of the epidemic abroad, ceramic tiles imported from India and Turkey have shown a downward trend, especially ceramic tiles imported from India, which fell by 50.35%. 40% of Spanish ceramic tile companies’ profits fell in 2020
The Confederation of Spanish Building Materials Associations (CEPCO) recently released the 2020 Spanish building materials export statistical report. The report shows that Spanish ceramic tile exports totaled 2.941 billion euros in 2020, an increase of 4.4% compared with 2019, but 40% of ceramic tile companies experienced a decline in profits.
