The “14th Five-Year Plan” is a critical period and window period for Ningxia to achieve its carbon peak. The proportion of non-fossil energy consumption in primary energy consumption will increase to about 15%, the proportion of renewable energy power consumption will increase to more than 30%, and the proportion of non-water renewable energy power consumption will increase to more than 28%.

The reduction rate of energy consumption per unit of regional GDP meets national requirements, the average coal consumption of thermal power supply strives to be reduced to less than 300 grams of standard coal/kilowatt hour, and the power grid line loss rate remains at the leading level in the country.

　——People’s livelihood goals. The per capita electricity consumption of urban and rural residents has increased by 7% annually on average, the power supply reliability rate has increased to 99.9527%, the electricity business environment has continued to be optimized, and the gasification rate of urban residents has reached 75%.
