Wuhan Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium - is the largest and most modern comprehensive sports facility in the history of sports construction in Hubei Province. The total land area of the venue is 111.8 acres, and the net land area is 78.5 acres. There are 265 ecological parking spaces designed on the west side of the venue and equipped with 56 new energy vehicle charging piles.
The shape of the gymnasium is designed in the shape of a "flying feather", which means "laurel crown". At the same time, the comprehensive gymnasium is connected to the Provincial Olympic Sports Center compound on the east side by a cross-street pedestrian bridge, forming an organic whole that integrates "games" and "training".
The "three halls" are connected through an elevated arc-shaped platform on the second floor, combined with the landscape design of the Carnival Plaza at the central entrance, to form a unique sports complex. There are 5,039 spectator seats. The overall planning of the gymnasium and the completed Optics Valley International Tennis Center forms a "pin"-shaped layout.
The Wuhan Olympic Sports Center project engineers not only strived for refinement in design, but also were stricter in the selection of material brands. After layers of screening and consideration of brands, Oceano was finally selected as the ceramic tile supplier for their project. The usage areas are the floors of public areas in the venue and the bathroom floors.
